The Raleigh Hills Green Team
Raleigh Hills Elementary is excited to announce the creation of The Green Team! This new student-led initiative will focus on promoting environmental awareness and sustainability within our school community. The Green Team will work on projects aimed at reducing waste, conserving resources, and educating students and staff about the importance of protecting our planet.
We invite all students in 4th and 5th grades to join; interested students can ask their teachers for an application. Meetings will be facilitated by Raleigh Hills parents and staff and are held during lunch time on the first Wednesday of every month. While Green Team club meetings are currently for 4th and 5th grade students, we hope to have school-wide initiatives and activities that ALL our students can take part in!

Eco-School Network
The Raleigh Hills Green Team is part of the Eco-School Network, a local organization of students, parents, teachers, and school staff promoting sustainable practices and raising ecological awareness in elementary schools in Oregon. Check out what other Portland-metro schools have been doing!
